In China, Xiaomi Mi 5 exploded but local news has not confirmed yet. A popular Chinese Tipster of China’s social media website Weibo, Channel named “Kumamoto Technology” recently posted some burnt images of a Weibo saying it Mi 5 smartphone from Xiaomi.
This Mi 5 was launched back in February 2016 is burnt, While the rear of the device is slightly burnt, the front is completely unrecognisable. This phone is flagship device from Xiaomi got 3D Glass design in it’s front and back panel.
If talk about it’s specs, this is packed with a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and added with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. In Camera department it has 16MP rear camera with 4K recording support, a 4 UltraPixel selfie snapper, 4G LTE, a USB Type-C port, an IR blaster, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Last year we got some news about explosion of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 while charging in India. It seems this phone has exploded while charging, but not confirmed yet. So please be aware, use and charge your phone very cautiously.
