Xiaomi yesterday launched its new Sub-brands POCO 1st model called F1, Xiaomi Launched this mobile globally in india in New Delhi on 22nd Aug. We have watched the Launch event and taken some hands-on and now we are writing its first impressions. Overall the mobile pleases the mid range budget buyers and gives them all which you can get in over 30k, a year before.
Xiaomi’s Poco F1 mobile is the cheapest mobile in the world to sport a flagship qualcomm snapdragon 845 chipset including Adreno 630, in the price as low as 19,999 (for the first sale, after that the base variant price will be 20,999). The Price is so aggressive that it can beat all the mobile phone available in 20000 price range, including honor’s latest offerings.

Xiaomi Poco F1: Design and Body
The POCO F1, the cheapest SD845 mobile, has its own cost cutting strategy, and hence it has a polycarbonate body, which xiaomi says that we don’t given glass to prevent the shattering of the mobile phone from the back. The body of the phone is quite good quality with good holding. A 6.18 inches display with 18:9 ratio, a notch, and all this under 20k.
The Cameras are not positioned as earlier like iPhone X, the cameras are now placed in the middle, like in the Samsung mobiles. (Galaxy S9, and S8)
POCO F1: Specs, Features & Software
The Poco f1 has an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with Adreno 630 GPU, equipped with 6GB & 8GB of RAM and 64,128 & 256 GB of storage. The mobile has a Full HD+ 18:9 ratio 6.18 inches display sporting corning gorilla glass protection. Xiaomi is recklessly comparing this mobile to iPhone X, OnePlus 6 and other phones in this category.
One thing to note that this mobile has some sort of Liquid cooling technology which
dissipates heat much faster and hence the mobile gives more performance and. On the software front Xiaomi has given a somewhat new interface but its of MIUI, POCO f1 sports MIUI for POCO Custom android OS, which the company said to give android Pie, when it launches and also promises to give faster updates. Well we Xiaomi very well, it gives updates really fast but also gives bugs to ruin the most.
On the software, Xiaomi has introduced a new launcher called POCO launcher. Which will be available soon on the Google Play store for using it on other mobile brands too.

On the Battery front, As xiaomi always gives some more, so here it goes. Xiaomi has given a whopping 4000 mah battery in the POCO F1 mobile, and to charge this, the USB type C and the fast charger is also supplied in the box, as we didn’t get the fast charger in the Mi A2’s box.
Xiaomi POCO F1 Camera
On Camera, Xiaomi POCO F1, has dual rear cameras sporting 12MP Sony IMX 363 and 5MP Samsung Sensor, the company said in launch that POCO F1 cameras have the lowest auto focus time as compared to OnePlus 6. On the Front side there is a single front camera of 20MP.
The phone has eyecatching nasty notch which you can remove from the settings option, also the phone has an excellent face unlock which unlocks the mobile seamlessly with full security too. The POCO F1 also has a fingerprint sensor on the back bottom to the cameras, which are easier to reach.
Currently the xiaomi Poco F1 mobile ships with MIUI 9.6 (with Android 8.1), but the company has promised to give MIUI 10 updates as soon as possible. The Poco F1 is available in different variants to choose according to the needs and budget.
Xiaomi Poco F1 Variants
The base variant has 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, which is priced at 20,999 rupees, the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant costs 23,999 and for 8GB/256GB variant the company priced it 29,999 rupees.
The Poco F1, has competitions from OnePlus 6, Asus Zenfone 5Z, LG G7+ ThinQ. Duw to its aggressive pricing and lot more features with more battery this phone definitely marks on the 1st position by judging its price. But we cant say more, as its testing is needed to prove its usability and value for money.
